Did we think this day would ever come?

Well did we ever think that the day would ever come when USA would have a African-American president or a lady president? Both seems to be impossible because, even though America boasts of equality and all that damn things, when it comes to choosing their president they will never keep upto that mark.

But strange things do seem to be happening and i am eagerly waiting for the results as i want to see if Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama will come anywhere near to becoming the next President of the United States of America.

Well if it was India, I sure could have expected anything as even the most illiterate ends up ruling the most educated. So can we say that about USA? NEVER! As they will never choose a President with a - criminal background, illiterate background and one who does not know to speak even a word in public. And all these do happen in India the wonderland of democracy!

Well inspite of all its fault, i am still a proud Indian. Thats crazy too...

It is quite interesting.It happens in India because it is only in India we have 350 electoral parties unlike any other country!

So yea more than democracy, i think it is how gullible people can ever be. Until illiteracy prevails, there woudl be another 800 parties coming along....

Besides, the people whom you are rallying for mostly are not well read/educated and what not. So which educated/developed country would be willing to leave the future of the country in a person like that. Oh Imagine, the worlds biggest economy going straight into the dumps. I would not even want to give anyone a chance to see if they can either take it up or down.....

@Vik

thats absolutely true. well in India new parties are comming up every day and everyone is struggling for power.

But i do feel that since India is an upcomming power, they have to do something about its present state of affairs.
I did listen to a few investment metting here and all are scared to invest in India as they say politicians cahnge words as they please, they change rules etc and finally many investors face huge probles...well i couldnt argue too much for that fact coz they were all multinational companies who faced probs in India...Most comapnies r pulling out investments out of ameraca and europe and they want to either invest in china, singapore last India...

so we hav this huge even and conf in may where we r bringing people from china to introduce their investment areas...
