P.S: I Love You

I had written a post earlier about the movie P.S.: I love you.....

Well looks like i will have to take back a few things i said after reading the book....The movie is nothing compared to the book...Even though the movie dint make me cry or anything, the book did...

And reading the book was way more better than watching the movie...Its good that i was able to get a copy of the book. I felt that lots of good things in the book were left out when it was made into a movie and that emotional aspect didnt work out well too....

For all those who opposed the movie, try reading the book to see if its sweet, simple and emotional...Ohh ya by the way, the book is not the epic of the era or anything if that's what you expect, but its just sweet, written in such a nice and simple manner that it conveys the whole scene to you very well...It makes us imagine and practically see the whole situation as if its happening right in front of our eyes...

Anyway I have alwyas been crazy about reading, that must be another reason why i like it a lot....

Ya books are definitely better than movies in most cases....heheh well i am a movie person too...but with this particular book, i felt the differnce between the movie and the book as a huge thing...The moovie dint come up to my expectations and i thought it was because i saw it with breaks and on the net.....but after reading the book i know the differnce..the book is more emotional and simple...

hey kelvy!
just dropped by ur blog and was happy to c this post. yeah i read the book too and loved it esp coz of the ending. just when we expected it to end in an all-too-familiar way, it dished out a completely different and sweet ending. havent seen the movie and dont intend to. why spoil the sweet aftertaste left by the book?

@yawn(Anu)

Thanks for stopping by....the book was too good...compared to the movie its really sweet too....after reading the book i understood that the movie had lost most of the essence that the book really had....ya dont watch it now...
the ending was surprising indeed :)

I loved the book, but the movie wasn't as good. Still, the concept behind both - of someone leaving behind something for a loved one - gets me every time. If you ever wanted to do it for real, there's this cool site called www.farawayfish.com, where you can store a profile and emails to be sent out to your loved ones after you die! Romantic or creepy?
